Hello from Region 8 in North Carolina! We haven't stopped sweating or getting bitten by Mosquitos since we got here.

We have learned that children will do Absolutely anything for silly bands, and so will Aimee. We also Learned that in the most urban areas, everyone loves to do "a time to wait." Aimee and Rachel learned on thursday that their shower was in fact not broken, but that in order to get hot water you have to turn the hot water knob.

Our urban camp has been a blast, and we have loved building relationships with the kids from the community. We have been doing camp with kids from ages 2 to 22. Last night one of the older boys, Orlando, gave his life to Christ. It has been such a blessing to watch God move in this place.

In our spare time we like to do Yoga, NOT get lost, Visit Liberty University, play hide and go seek in target (and get caught by campers) and play beach volleyball.

With lots of love,

Region Number 8 in the notebook, Region number 1 in your hearts.

Aimee, Brent, Candace, Rachel and Jenny
