Region 13

We had a rough start in Dillard Georgia. We have never seen such a place, there was wrestling at a flea market, boiled peanuts every 100 yards and the "big city" contained a christmas store and general store (:

Once we got to our camp in Highlands, North Carolina it was beautiful. It is a small town tucked away in the mountains that really holds true to its church's name, Community Bible Church. Our camp has been running really well with about 40 kids.

The girls are staying at an amazing host home with one of the older couple from the church, Fred and Martha. Martha is just a second mom to us and cooks amazingly! The boys are staying at an inn about 15 min away and actually on one of the drives to pick them up we saw a bear! It was awesome. The group has also been to two waterfalls! One was beautiful the other was more of a trickle. We also went into town, but realized everything closes so early! And there times are for example open from 10ish-4ish its great!

But back to camp we have had a lot of fun with the kids. There are certain kids that our hearts go out for, one family in particular that is going through a divorce. There is also one little girl Chloe that is the most adorable happy spirited little girl. She was in basketball than switched to soccer and has the best attitude about everything! During throw ins she came up with a chant "throw it like you know it!" The gospel message went great today! And Amy had a great experience telling one of the moms that their daughter accepted Christ into her life and the mom began to cry, she had only been saved for about a month.

Overall we are having fun and can't wait to keep making an impacts in the campers life!
